MONDAY NOVEMBER 2, 10AM - 6PM
The writer of Ecclesiastes says, “For everything there is a season, a time for every matter under heaven: a time to speak, a time to keep silence.”
As we approach election day, it’s obvious that we have had a lengthy and exhausting season of words. In the multitude of words anxiety, division, and weariness have only increased. It’s time to find stillness and peace. The psalmist declares that he found refuge in God’s steadfast love and shelter from contentious tongues. He heard the Lord speak, “Be still and know that I am God.”
On Monday, November 2, we are opening our doors from 10AM-6PM for anyone who is seeking sanctuary and prayer in the midst of this important moment for our country. We invite you to stop by at your convenience to spend time in prayer, seek God’s face, and remember that even when the nations are in uproar and the kingdoms totter, the Lord of hosts is with us, the God of Jacob is our refuge.
